The ice has been broken last Friday, when Daimler AG Boss, Dr. Dieter Zetsche, also nicknamed 'Dr. Z', announced that 2010 is the year when Mercedes-Benz and smart are to offer the first fully electrically powered vehicles. smart is already testing a fleet of 100 electric cars in London, whereas the most likely-to-be-made-electric Mercedes-Benz models are the A-Klasse or B-Klasse.
