Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
I myself am a Huge Evolution fan. But the new Evo X disappointed me. It looks extremely cheap, feels like it's a car manufactured by GM Motors. Unlike the STi Mitsubishi Motors kept all the badges, such as BBS, and Brembo. You even get stock Recaro seats, but it's not surprising, since Mitsubishi has been giving that option since Lan-Evo 3. Very underpowered all aluminum MIVEC engine. 291hp? Not bad looking on the paper, but in reality, it doesn't match up to the "Yaw control", which is technically a copy cat of Honda's SH-AWD because it simply does not give out enough power. It's slower around the track than Evo 9 MR, which is really embarrassing. Interior got nicer, since the previous EVO IX. It became more family friendly, but at the same time, became so much more heavier, and what's worse, Mitsubishi didn't want to bring their RS model, which is supposably lighter and has less downforce on the rear to increase speed, to the United States or UK. So we get to play around with the fat model. MR Model disappointed me the most. Not only it's fatter that GSR, but it has Automatic 6-Speed TC-SST transmission. And recently they came out with SE model, which is suppose to be something like a mix of GSR and MR, without a spoiler, so it's an RS, but it's not lighter than GSR, so it's not an RS. They simply called it SE, which stands for Special Edition (You can click here to check out it's performance and new looks). Can it get any worse now? If I were to buy an Evolution, I rather buy a used MR9 than any of those new Evo 10s.
