An Iranian automaker plans to produce a car named after Iran�s northern neighbor, Azerbaijan.The Azerbaijan model is slated to hit roads next year, the Mehr news agency reported on November 18. An adviser to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the name is a nod to Iran�s northern neighbor, the Trend news agency reported on November 19.
The car will be produced by Iran Khodro, the Middle East�s largest passenger car manufacturer. The automaker produced Iran�s first domestic-made car, Samand.
