Infiniti G37S Convertible Sports Car Coupe

The first-ever Infiniti G Convertible builds upon the performance legacy of the Infiniti G line, with the liberation only a convertible with the top down can provide. It is scheduled to go on sale at Infiniti dealers in North America in the spring of 2009, followed later in other Infiniti markets around the world.

Infiniti has released new pictures and details of its fifth body-style for Europe, the Infiniti G37 Convertible. Arguably Infiniti's most seductive car yet, the G37 Convertible will go on sale across Europe from summer 2009.

The body design is similar to the new G37 coupe, though many body panels are completely unique. With the top raised, the G37 convertible carries a softer, sleeker silhouette than the coupe, though the design will be instantly recognizable to Infiniti fans.Most interesting to Infiniti sports car enthusiasts who like to drive hard will be the limited edition G37S Convertible Sport 6MT, with the obvious 6 speed manual transmission, higher-feedback steering, bigger brakes and 19 inch wheels to the G37 convertible package.

The interior design combines sophistication, craftsmanship and thoughtfulness with unique, available systems created to enhance the open-air driving experience. The driver-oriented cockpit features an Infiniti signature "double wave" instrument panel design with Infiniti electroluminescent instrumentation with white-and-violet illumination, integrated multi-function information drive computer display and analogue Infiniti clock. The double hand-stitched leather-covered steering wheel is designed for maximum comfort and usability, with standard wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls. Genuine magnesium paddle shifters are standard for the 7-speed automatic transmission.

The engine is backed by a choice of an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission with available magnesium paddle shifters or a responsive close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Like the G Coup� and G37 Sedan, the new Infiniti G37 Convertible's outstanding dynamic performance credentials start with a combination of its advanced FM platform and award-winning V6 engine. Every Infiniti G37 Convertible comes equipped with a standard 3.7-litre V6 engine with VVEL (for Variable Valve Event and Lift), rated at 320PS.

The VVEL system combines hydraulic-controlled variable valve timing and electronically controlled variable valve lift on the intake side, helping to improve not only performance and response but also emissions and fuel efficiency (over a non-VVEL system). It also provides cleaner emissions by allowing for quicker warm-up of the catalyst and by stabilizing combustion when the engine is cool.

Technology features include standard RearView Monitor and an available touch-screen Infiniti Navigation system with XM NavTraffic� Real-Time Traffic information with 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive, Pre-Crash Seat Belts, Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) with Preview Braking and Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS).Responsive steering is provided by a vehicle-speed-sensing system. Also standard on the Infiniti G37 Convertible is Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with cancel switch and Traction Control System (TCS).

Braking performance is provided by standard 4-wheel vented discs with 4-channel, 4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. The Infiniti G37 Convertible will also be available with larger ventilated rotors (14.0-inch front/13.8-inch rear) and aluminum four-piston calipers front/two-piston calipers rear, embossed with Infiniti lettering.

The G Convertible is offered in two models: the G37 Convertible and the G37S Convertible Sport 6MT, which adds sport-tuned steering and larger sport brakes, along with 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and W-rated performance tires.

Also available is a special, limited production G Convertible Premier Edition, offered exclusively through the Bloomingdale�s Holiday Catalog. With only 200 being built, the Premier Edition features a custom Monaco Red Leather leather-appointed interior, handcrafted red-tone Maple Wood trim, Midnight Black front grille and 9-spoke 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and tires. Pre-orders for the Premier Edition are being taken now for delivery in 2009.

2010 Infiniti G37 Review And Wallpapers

The updated Infiniti G37 topped Consumer Reports� tests of upscale sports sedans, despite facing strong competition from three newly-designed vehicles. With an �Excellent� overall road test score, the G37 remains the highest-rated vehicle in the category.

The G37 was tested against the redesigned Acura TSX, Audi A4, and all-new Volkswagen Passat CC, all of which achieved �Very Good� overall test scores.

�The Infiniti G37 continues its reign as top in the class,� said David Champion, senior director of the Auto Test Center. �The drivetrain is still the highlight of the car, delivering very strong performance while getting better fuel economy than the previous generation. The G37 is very quick, and handling is agile and fun.�

The G37 and TSX are the only vehicles from this month�s test group that are rated �Recommended.� Consumer Reports only recommends vehicles that have performed well in its tests, have at least average predicted reliability based on its survey, and performed at least adequately if crash-tested or included in a government rollover test.

Infiniti EX30d Cars Wallpapers

Recently, Infiniti has announced the price list of its first diesel � the FX30d. Now it is turn to the second � EX30d. It is priced at �35 975 and promises to raise the bar for diesel engine refinement and vehicle safety.

The sales will start from early July, the EX diesel models are expected to account for eight out of every 10 EX sales. It is because of the prices, announced to be lower than the petrol-fuelled equivalent.

The top-of-range is a new GT Premium version equipped as standard with a suite of innovative safety technology, some of it only just made available for the first time on any Infiniti in Europe. It includes special features that that return the car to its correct lane on the motorway and give the driver warning of impending collisions.

EX30d delivers more mpg and emits less CO2 than the petrol EX models and on the top of this, it provides more power than the EX25 model.

Infiniti Canada revealed the Infiniti G37 Anniversary Art Project Vehicle at the 14th Annual Canadian Art Gallery Hop Gala in Toronto. To commemorate Infiniti�s 20th anniversary, Infiniti Canada partnered with Cirque du Soleil(R) to create a one-of-a-kind G37 Sport Coupe.

The Japanese automaker Infiniti has just confirmed that they finer line of Nissan car will indeed produce the M35 hybrid luxury sedan. An M35 hybrid will join the rest of the conventional internal combustion only vehicles when the 2012 M arrives in showrooms. The revised fuel efficient lineup ill also be available with a new high performance diesel V6 model for the Western European market where the less refined fueled automobiles are preferred due to their incredible range and the high price of petrol. The next generation hybrid powered Infiniti M will become the most fuel efficient model in the entire automakers history.

The M35 Hybrid is powered by a gas/electric power train system that combines a naturally aspirated 3.5 Liter V6 and an efficient electric motor. The electric motor acts as both a propulsion unit, boosting the V6 with a �power assist� mode when the pedal is pushed to the metal and also as a generator to power the vehicle�s accessories and improve the engine�s efficiency. However, the combination of electrically charged wound wires and powerful magnets is not the only item that charges the hybrid�s next generation Lithium ion battery pack, but it is also recharged by the luxury sedans deceleration and braking.

The M Hybrid also features and electric vehicle mode where it runs solely on the motors, drastically improving fuel efficiency and allowing it to operate as a zero emissions vehicle as well. This optimizes the Inifiniti�s energy consumption across the widest array of driving conditions. The luxury automaker Inifiniti has promised to release further details about the hybrid�s range, performance and transmission soon. No mater what they have to say about the new green Japanese sedan it will definitely be a hot item.

If you can recall, the Japanese luxury automaker Infiniti launched a very special version of their sporty SUV dubbed the FX Millionaire Edititon for their home market towards the end of last year. Well now they are allowing European buyers get in on the high end fun with the all new Infiniti FX Limited Edition. Based on the FX37S and FX50S models, there will only be 100 units produced for the entire European market, with only 18 examples going to Great Britain and prices starting at �55,855 for the FX37S and �62,035 for the more powerful FX50S version.

The FX Limited Edition is available in either Obsidian Black or White Moonlight �Scratch Guard� paint and will be shod with a set of 21 inch �Turbine� design anthracite alloy wheels with matching radiator grill, side vents and roof rails. Meanwhile the interior benefits from illuminated �Infiniti� entry guards, black leather upholstery, Alcantara head liner as well as a variety of carbon fiber accents. The Japanese luxury car builder Infiniti is not for a car for everybody, we tested an FX50S earlier this year and unless you were up to driving the multi passenger sports car then you would miss out on one of the most fun SUVs on the market. Recognizing that they cater to a different kind of clientele, Infiniti recently unveiled a special edition Infiniti FX that sets itself further apart from the norm. Dubbed the Millionaire Edition, the limited edition FX was reveled in Amsterdam and will be available in either Obsidian Black or White Moonlight and will be shod with a set of 21 inch anthracite alloy wheels while the interior makes the most of its newfound carbon fiber trim. Infiniti will make the special edition FX available with both the 3.7 Liter V6 and the blazingly fast 5.0 Liter V8 power trains for European customers with prices to be announced at a later date. Like most things, if you have to ask you probably cant afford it and despite the tough economic times there are still plenty of Millionaires out there, but with only 100 units scheduled to be built they better hurry to get your orders in; model not included.

Aside from the 2011 Infiniti M luxury sedan, the upscale arm of the Nissan Motor Company also revealed the 2010 G37 sedan today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. For the 2010 model year, Infiniti will offer the G37 in four trims. Starting out with the base model, moving on to the G37 Journey, then the all wheel drive G37x and finally the G37 Sport with a six speed manual transmission. All models will be offered with a revised exterior styling, an enhanced interior and upgraded technologies.

The 2010 G37 sedan is powered by a 3.7 Liter VVEL V6 engine that delivers 328 HP and 269 lb-ft of torque and is mated to either a seven speed automatic transmission with auto blip Downshift Rev Matching, Drive Sport Mode and Adaptive Shift Control for enhanced driving pleasure while a six speed manual is also offered as an option on the G37 Sport model.

The new Infiniti G37 comes with restyled features like new headlights and a reshaped grill, High Intensity Discharge Xenon headlights standard, more angular wide mouth front bumper and integrated fog lights. For the 2010 model year, the G37 receives two new exterior colors, Smoky Quartz and Graphite Shadow and Maple Accent Wood Trim on the interior. The new G will also be available with several packages and options like the Premium Package, Navigation Package, Technology Package, separate Sport Packages for the G37 Journey and G37x AWD, as well as a Performance Tire & Wheel Package.
