Flashback: Henkka's racer

Henry Forsgren's old racing car that he raced around 10 years in various classes. At the fastest car performed steady 10 second times.

One respectable side of this team is kind of a professional attitude. I am not sure whether there is any Volkswagen racer in country who has progressed to this level in all aspects including transporters, how the pit looks in races etc.





In 2005 car became one of the fastest local street legal Volkswagens in Jussi Jyr�nk�'s hands and got nominated in Top20 of CalLook.com's rankings.

Old Speed @ Kuplapaja

Cool Theo Decker engine sold forward by Kuplapaja. Along with the engine came interesting bunch of Vintage hi-performance parts, the owner had been into rallying this Sea Blue '65 had OG wider steelies, Speedwell adapters to widen track, Speedwell short shift kit etc.

There was also interesting correspondence with the car.



Jussi's own 34-hp based �ttinger/Okrasa-engine.

Flashback: 90's Looker

Mid 90's Cal Looker photographed at Kuplapaja's premises when Jussi's business was located in Tattarinsuo, Helsinki. That mid 60's Bug shows typical choice of colour from that period including slight Pro Street touch with the shockwave painted on the side. Photo is from late 90's and the wheels are most likely the very same set of MWS 5-spokes that I imported from UK in 1997.
