The beltline rises from the front wheel arch to create a gentle wedge shape and continues under With an angled window line, rounded nose, large flared back headlamps and chrome grille, the Kia Soul is given a friendly face and exudes a youthful exuberance for coasting along the beach or cruising downtown city streets, redefining the concept of freedom. Originally debuted as a concept vehicle at Detroit's North American International Auto Show in 2006, Kia Soul's exterior remains true to the original Kia Soul concept design implying power and strength. "Indicative of the new design direction of KMA, Soul is an attractive and customizable vehicle for those looking for something with a little more personality than other vehicles on the market today. "The Kia Soul is for those who love individuality but don't like to be categorized by finding the next best thing," said Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing, KMA.

With Soul's arrival as an early model year 2010 vehicle to the C-Segment, it allows young and young-at-heart buyers to have the freedom to truly personalize and emotionally connect with their vehicle. Soul's bold and edgy design is indicative of the new Kia design theme, with more package and styling combinations than any previous Kia vehicle. Designed in Southern California, the Kia Soul is the newest product offering to join the company's ever-expanding line-up, following the introduction of the all-new Borrego midsize SUV earlier this year. Kia Motors America (KMA) announced the North American debut of the all-new Kia Soul passenger vehicle at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air Concept's color & trim follows a "Japanese Technology" theme, combining the approachable image and the high-tech spirit of environmentally-friendly devices: The blue Made of semi-transparent lightweight composite, the "clear cutaway" roof panel allows open air driving whilst retaining the structural integrity of the coup. Whilst several variants of i MiEV Sport have been sketched internally (all the way to a wacky mini pickup !), the 2009 Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air Concept is a more tangible proposition with its removable clear roof panel over its polyamide and polyphenylene ether body panels. Appropriately for an EV, a semi-transparent embedded solar panel is used on the bonnet and "clear cutaway" roof panel, while the "printed circuit board" motif continues inside, highlighting points inside the cabin.

Details, such as the (more) robust looking three-spoke alloy wheels, the squared-off mirrors, the LED front lighting and side repeaters contribute to that look. Longer (+ 20 cm) and taller (+ 12 cm), it trades the cheeky look of its predecessor for a more technical approach of its teardrop shape: from the clamshell effect of its deep(er) windshield + diminutive bonnet to the shaper shape of its front end - complete with an inverted Jet Fighter "grille", or the flush glazing over the B-pillar. A joint effort between Mitsubishi Motors design studios in Okazaki (exterior), Okazaki and Cypress, California (interior) as well as Tokyo (execution), the zero CO2 emission Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport Air Concept is a relative to the acclaimed and equally zero CO2 emission 2007 i MiEV Sport show car.

2011 Porsche Cayenne
The most significant feature within the Extra space inside and greater everyday usability is ensured by a 40mm longer wheelbase. The fresh design of the new model integrates the Cayenne into the Porsche range and the sporting character of the Porsche Cayenne is clearly obvious, just as the highlights in the shape and design of the car so typical of Porsche are also clearly defined. But despite its larger exterior dimensions, the design language of the new generation Porsche Cayenne represents a more compact and dynamic style. Overall, the new Justify FullCayenne is 48 mm longer than its predecessor.

Thisphilosophy is manifest in the introduction of a new Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic transmission featuring a wider spread of gear ratios, an Auto Start Stop function, optimised thermal management on the engine and transmission cooling system, on-board network recuperation, and intelligent lightweight construction. The new Porsche Cayenne has been developed according to the principles of Porsche Intelligent Performance: more power on less fuel, greater efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. Consequently, the breadth of new features and new technologies throughout the Porsche Cayenne ensures that it offers greater driving quality both on- and off-road, together with enhanced safety and passenger comfort. This weight reduction clearly has a very positive effect not only on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, but also on performance, agility, and handling.

The selection of materials for optimum weight combined with changes in the overall concept of the Porsche Cayenne - such as a new active and extra-light all-wheel drive transmission - has resulted in the overall weight of the Porsche Cayenne S, for example, being reduced by 180kg. The highlight of the new line-up is the technically sophisticated parallel full hybrid drive-train which combines the sporting performance of an eight-cylinder with the economy of a six-cylinder and a unique 'sailing mode' for even lower fuel consumption. Each model in the Porsche Cayenne range is a trend-setter in terms of efficiency and output and, compared with the former models, offers an increase in fuel economy of up to 23 per cent with more performance. The new generation Porsche Cayenne will make its world debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
