Hybrid vs Diesel: Final Showdown.

This battle has been going on since hybrids ever came out, and I think that hybrids are as useless as letmegoogleitforyou team. Government and car makers try to prove to us that Hybrids are so much "greener" than all those diesel cars that are used in the Europe, but they are missing out on something. Yes, Hybrids do use little amount of gas, but there's another thing about them. They are not as "green" as we think they are, and in this post, I'm going to prove that to you.

All of you are familiar with Toyota Prius. There's no way you've never seen that car, although it is hard to notice that lunchbox. Prius is considered to be the most economical hybrid that's out yet. But, there's just one thing. Every hybrid car uses batteries, and the common thing between those batteries are the price and toxicity. Those batteries cost $3-5k, and you have to replace those batteries ever 2-4 years. Then there's toxicity. Those batteries are made using Lead, which is EXTREMELY toxic. Scientists proved that long term exposures to even small amounts of lead can cause brain and kidney damage. Here's what I found on hybridcars.com and you should check that site out too.
"According to a 2003 report entitled, "Getting the Lead Out," by Environmental Defense and the Ecology Center of Ann Arbor, Mich., an estimated 2.6 million metric tons of lead can be found in the batteries of vehicles on the road today."
I'd rather be a loser and buy a BMW 5 series that is diesel, than go ahead and save some money and buy a car that will kill me one day. I don't know why people are so cheap, but they just don't see the difference. You think diesel is bad? I said that those batteries contain lead, but did I say how it's being thrown into air in millions of cubic meters every day from those fabrics that make those batteries? Did I say how much our government spends on making those batteries? They are paying money for their own death! Whereas they could prove to people that diesel is better. Yes, it doesn't have much torque, but you are not wasting much fuel. In fact, you are using up so much less than those hybrids. Jeremy Clarkson from TopGear proved that you can go 800 miles in Audi A8 Diesel with just one refill. Can you do that with a hybrid? I don't think so.
