More used buses and coaches sold to the German market
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
Neu-Ulm, Germany, Jan 15, 2009
* Over 2000 visitors from 18 different countries at the IGOM 2009 fair in Neu-Ulm
* Almost 300 buses and coaches of various makes on offer
Daimler brand Setra staged the 16th International Used Bus & Coach Fair (IGOM) from 3 to 5 January, attracting over 2000 prospective buyers from 18 European countries to Neu-Ulm, Germany.
The event enabled the Setra Used Vehicle Centre to join forces with independent used bus dealers, Setra general distributors and EvoBus subsidiaries to present an attractive line-up of almost 300 buses and coaches on the site of the EvoBus bus and coach assembly plant. Of the buses and coaches on display, around a third of the used vehicles and ten new Setra models were sold to the domestic and foreign markets on the spot. Erich Weinstock, head of the Used Vehicle Centre, was extremely satisfied with the response from the customers: "Unlike in previous years, the main sales market this year was Germany. We would like to thank all customers and friends of the Setra brand for the great encouragement they have given us."
For 16 years, during which time over 1300 vehicles have been sold, this major European used bus and coach fair has provided an ideal platform for international contacts. It is also the perfect outlet for service brand Omniplus, the technical customer service department and the finance experts, all of whom were able to showcase their latest products.
