2010 Mercedes-Benz SLC:Latest spy photos
The most awaited supercar from Mercedes-Benz has been recently caught while running in a deserted area, somewhere in the U.S. .
After getting rid of that nasty Viper mule we saw on the prototypes some months ago, the true SLC is now more and more present on the roads of Mother Earth. In the last period, the internet was practically flooded with both spy photos and quite contradicting or disturbing information about this future supercar. As we can see, the last spy photos from the bunch show a heavily disguised, yet discernable, prototype during testing under hot-weather conditions in USA. The silhouette of the car, even though the most important design details are still well & truly hidden, looks to be very sporty and appealling, with a low center of gravity and short front and rear consoles. The radiator grille has respectable proportions and it demonstrates to be the ideal place to emphasize the big Mercedes-Benz '3-pointed star' logo.
A while ago, some articles that appeared on the internet stated that Mercedes-Benz is planning to launch the new sports car strictly under the AMG brand. This sort of marketing move could turn out to be partially deadly and moreover, it's quite improbable that Mercedes-Benz would like to put its skin at risk and sell a car, that was expected by everyone to be a true Mercedes-Benz, under another name, like AMG.
